REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA - CALIFORNIA MICROWAVE, INC. (Nasdaq
National Market:CMIC) announced that B. Patrick Wong, 47, has been appointed vice president, Asia-Pacific. He is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Substantial Satcom Experience in Asia-Pacific Wong is California Microwave’s senior executive in Asia-Pacific, responsible for generating business for all the company’s divisions in rapidly growing markets--Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos. Prior to joining ComStream (a Spar Communications Co.) in 1990, Wong held various management positions at Spar Communications Group from 1983 to 1990. >From 1977 to 1983, he was senior systems engineer and subsequently manger of business development with Telesat Canada, a satellite services company in Canada. Wong holds a BS and an MS in electrical engineering from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
