CALIFORNIA MICROWAVE ADDS ROBERTS
TO ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT TEAM

REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA - CALIFORNIA MICROWAVE, INC. (Nasdaq National Market:CMIC) announced today the appointment of William F. Roberts, 60, as transmission engineering manager for its Microwave Network Systems (MNS) division.
Roberts has 35 years of network design and transmission experience in communications for cellular and microwave applications, from field measurements to technical design, engineering, implementation, and commissioning. Before joining California Microwave he was a microwave engineering consultant. He had previously worked for Bell Canada, GTE Lenkurt Electric, Harris Farinon, and Rockwell-Wescom. California Microwave, Inc. is a leading U.S. supplier of microwave radios and satellite earth stations for wireless communications networks.
