REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA - CALIFORNIA MICROWAVE, INC. (Nasdaq National Market:CMIC) announced that Stephen A. Strohman has been appointed vice president of marketing and sales for its Sunnyvale Products Division. Strohman brings over 20 years of executive and wide-ranging telecommunications experience to the marketing and sales position. Most recently, he operated his own telecommunications consulting company whose clients included Xerox and AT&T. Strohman previously served as senior vice president of STM Wireless, vice president of marketing at TRW, president of United Information Systems, Ltd., a subsidiary of United Telecommunications (now Sprint), and executive vice president, systems and technology at United Computing Systems. Strohman began his career as a civilian computer programmer developing large-scale command, control and communications systems for the U.S. Air Force. Strohman holds a BA from California State, Northridge. E.
