(Nasdaq National Market:CMIC) announced today that, as a result of continuing lower-than-expected bookings and sales, primarily in its wireless communications business, its 1996 fiscal year fourth quarter (ending June 30, 1996), earnings per share are now expected to be more in line with those of the third quarter. California Microwave reported earnings of $.08 per share on sales of $100 million for its third quarter for a total of $.62 per share on sales of $332 million for the nine months ended March 31, 1996. Actual earnings for the quarter are dependent upon the timing of certain bookings and sales for the month of June.
