Redwood City, California - CALIFORNIA MICROWAVE, INC. (CMIC-Nasdaq) announced today that its Microwave Data Systems (MDS Division) has entered into a long-term Master Purchase Agreement with Alabama Power Company, a subsidiary of Southern Company, one of the nation's largest investor-owned electric utility groups. The ten-year Master Agreement is for the supply of MDS' industry-leading Multiple Address Radio equipment to Alabama Power Company, as well as other Southern Company affiliates such as Georgia Power, Mississippi Power, Savannah Electric and Gulf Power.
