announced today that its Microwave Network Systems (MNS) division has
released the TelescanĘ 6000 network management system. The Telescan 6000 is a text and graphical-based network management system designed to provide management for all of the California Microwave-MNS digital microwave products, taking advantage of their integrated network management protocols. The Telescan 6000 provides a low-cost solution. Operating within the Windows NTĘ environment, Telescan 6000 eliminates the need for application-specific hardware. Key features include user-friendly graphical point-and-click interface; enhanced fault management with real-time alarm collection; graphical and audible alarm notification and fault indicating to module level; the flexibility to manage large or small networks; complete configuration facilities, including remote log in and control of all network elements; and multi-level security management.
